Full-time, Clinical/Forensic Psychologist, permanent job vacancy, close to Wimborne, Dorset.

This job vacancy is based approximately a 20-minute commute from Wimborne via the B3078.

• £53,040 - £61,040 per annum DOE.
• Full-time hours, 40-hours per week.

The Provider & Your Role

We are recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s biggest providers of residential care, education and support for young adults and children living with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Learning Disabilities. They have an impressive network of schools, colleges, and residential homes where all their talented teamwork with specialists to enable every young person to develop their abilities and create a positive future. This service is set in a beautiful location, and this is an amazing place to work, not only for the work that they do, but for the location in which you do it too.

As a Clinical/Forensic Psychologist, you will be supporting young adults with complex needs mainly associated with high-functioning Autism, Anxiety, Social & Emotional or Mental Health conditions. You will use psychological models and practices to enhance the cognitive and emotional skills of the young people in order to prepare them for adult life and independence. You will closely with parents, teachers, social workers, and doctors to provide the very best outcome for the young people.

Criteria

• Post graduate training & qualification in Forensic or Clinical Psychology.
• Experience working with young people living with Autism and associated difficulties.
• Registered with Health & Care Profession Council (HCPC).
