We are recruiting for a qualified Maths Teacher close to Bournemouth, Dorset, to join a specialist education college for young adults aged 16-25 living with social and emotional difficulties, anxiety disorders, and mental health conditions. This is a permanent job vacancy.

This job vacancy is approximately a 30-minute commute from Bournemouth via the A338. It may also suit applicants living close to Wimborne, Ferndown, or nearby surrounding areas.

  • £25,714 - £40,124 per annum (M1 – UPS2).
  • Full-time, 40-hours per week (term-time only).

Criteria

  • PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training.
  • Able to teach Entry Level 2 & 3, GCSE & A-Level Maths.
  • Experience of working within specialist education – desirable.
  • Good communication skills both written & verbal.
  • Ability to engage students in positive enabling relationships.
