As a result, we are now looking for an experienced Team Leader to join this new team.
About the Service
The new Ealing Reach Out service will provide one to one support services to victims/survivors in safe accommodation other than refuge settings, including:
The service will provide a range of support that offers Ealing residents a personalised pathway away from domestic violence and abuse and builds on their strengths and aspirations for the future.

Overall Aim
To provide high-quality support to a caseload of women with problematic substance misuse and/or mental health issues living in our refuge accommodation. Ensuring provision of a safe, supportive and welcoming environment and supporting the resettlement process when women move on.
To be responsible for implementing a range of interventions and support measures as part of an integrated package of health, therapeutic and social support to women with complex needs living in refuge accommodation.
To work in partnership with local and national services to improve and achieve best outcomes for the women.
To deliver support services for Housing for Women within the standards and contract assessment and monitoring framework set out by our commissioners and funders.

As a result, we are now looking for an experienced Deputy Services Manager to join this new team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of HfW’s DVA support services across Greenwich including; referral and advice, refuge based support, floating and Sanctuary support and Children’s Services, in line with contract and funder requirements
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure that individual support plans are developed, delivered, monitored and reviewed in line with the required quality & regulation standards and that service users lead on the development and review of their support plans.
- To manage and provide regular supervision, support and feedback to all members of staff within the refuges. - To ensure adequate cover for all services and monitor and review the advice given to service users.
- Carry out regular file audits on service user files to ensure that quality standards are being maintained and work with other Managers in the department to carry out service reviews across all services.
- Ensure occupancy levels in refuges are maximised
- Ensure there are implement identified strategies for income maximisation
- Provide information as required to contribute to wider policy and procedure and to meet the requirements of funders and other stakeholders and to prepare/contribute to reports on finance, personnel and strategic developments as required.
To be successful in this role you will require:
- Significant experience of effectively managing teams delivering services to vulnerable people across floating support and accommodation based settings
- Demonstrable experience of undertaking individual assessments including risk assessments and developing and delivering support plans
- Experience of partnership working and ability to effectively liaise and negotiate with voluntary and statutory agencies
- Knowledge and experience of delivering housing related support services under contract and providing the relevant monitoring and meeting the sector quality standards framework
- Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and local and national policy in respects of DVA including: Housing/Housing Options, Welfare Benefits, Legal interventions, MARAC/MAPPA, Safeguarding etc.

Overview
Our social centre in Kelso offers a range of activities for older people and the opportunity to socialise, build friendships and maintain their independence and well-being.
The Role
As a Deputy Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our social centre in Kelso.
In this varied role, you will work alongside our dedicated volunteers to deliver an outstanding service for older people throughout the Scottish Borders.
You will arrange stimulating activities, serve nutritious meals and help people socialise and enjoy their day at the centre.
Additionally, you will:
- Support the recruitment, development and line management of volunteers
- Support, develop and maintain relationships with key local contacts
- Fundraise to achieve local targets
- Undertake general administrative duties
- Promote the service locally
Working Hours
This is a part-time role working 12 hours per week, Tuesday and Thursday, from 9am to 3pm, on a fixed-term contract until the 31st March 2023.
What you’ll need
- Experience of working within a care environment
- Cash handling experience
- Good IT skills
- Literacy and numeracy skills
- A full, valid driving licence
Experience of working with volunteers and/or volunteer-led support groups would be beneficial to your application.
This role will require a DBS check.
