We are looking for positive and experienced NHS Equivalent Band 8A Registered Children’s Nurse Manager to work for an exceptional charity who provide children, young people, and families with a safe and positive environment in everything they do. This is more than just a job.


Plaistow / East Ham area of East London.  The role is only a short walk from the Docklands Light Railway (DLR). It may also be commutable from the Ilford, Barking, Dagenham, and Stratford areas of London.

Your Employer

Our client, a registered charity, specializes in providing high-quality palliative and complex care for children up to 19 years old in a warm loving haven where they can make as many amazing memories as possible whilst having access access to essential medical support. As a Paediatric Nurse you will help to provide creative therapy and music sessions, as well as memorable days out for the children and their families.

Your Role

As Care Manager your job/duties will be the day-to-day operations within the residential clinical care setting.  This will include recruiting, managing a staff team, budgets and over seeing the quality of the service in line with the Care Quality Commission guidelines for Children’s Hospices.  This will include (Full Job Description is available upon application)

To apply you will need to be a Qualified RCN with current NMC Registration with previous managerial experience within a clinical care setting, managing a team of Qualified Nurses.  You will be a passionate leader with experience of caring for children with complex health needs including tracheostomies, ventilator dependent children, IV Therapy via central lines and complex symptom management systems.
