Job description

We are recruiting for a Children’s Residential Team Leader to join a 5-bedded residential children’s home for children living with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and challenging behaviours.

Location: Feltham, London Borough of Hounslow.

This job is based about a 10-minute commute from Feltham.

Salary: £25K - £27K per annum DOE + £35 per sleep.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time hours, shift pattern (nights not essential).

We are recruiting on behalf of a family-owned children’s home supporting children aged 7-18 with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and challenging behaviours. Rated Good in all areas by OFSTED, there is a fantastic staff team in place and all the children are settled and making positive progress.

As a Children’s Residential Team Leader, you will be key in ensuring the welfare, care, and support of the children, so they can have the most positive future possible, but also providing leadership, supervision, and mentoring to a dedicated staff team. There will be elements of personal care involved in the job role.

Criteria

  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare or Children & Young Peoples’ Workforce – essential.
  • Experience working with children or younger adults.
  • Experience working with individuals living with Learning Disabilities, Autism, & Challenging Behaviours.
  • You must be aged 22 or over.
