Job Description

We are recruiting for a Children’ Support Worker to join a 5-bedded residential children’s home for children living with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and challenging behaviours.

Location: Hounslow, Greater London.

This job is based about a 20-minute commute from Hounslow.

Salary: £18K - £24K per annum DOE + £35 per sleep.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time hours, shift pattern (nights not essential).

We are recruiting on behalf of a family-owned children’s home supporting children aged 7-18 with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and challenging behaviours. Rated Good in all areas by OFSTED, there is a fantastic staff team in place and all the children are settled and making positive progress.

As a Children’ Support Worker, you will help the children with daily living tasks and encouraging them to learn. You will be key in ensuring the welfare, care, and support of the children, so they can have the most positive future possible. There will be elements of personal care involved in the job role, but the role is rewarding like no other.

Criteria

  • Experience working with children or younger adults.
  • Experience working with individuals living with Learning Disabilities, Autism, & Challenging Behaviours.
  • You must be aged 22 or over.
