We have a full-time job vacancy for a Care Coordinator close to the London Borough of Ealing, Greater London.

This job vacancy is easily accessible via the London Underground with the nearest Tube Stations being Hanger Lane on the Central line or North Ealing on the Piccadilly line. The job may suit candidates living in Acton, Hanwell, Park Royal and nearby areas.

  • £25K - £28K per annum DOE + mileage allowance.
  • Fixed term contract, 12-months.
  • Full-time hours include on-call 1 week in 5.
  • Refer a Friend scheme, 28-days holiday and additional well-being days.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care preferred.  
  • Experience in scheduling/coordinating in the care sector – essential.  
  • Strong work ethic, organisation skills, and positive personality - essential

The Provider

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established homecare provider. Independently owned and led, but part of a national Homecare and leading brand, which enables its customers to maintain their independence at home. The Director is local to the area and entered the care sector following a personal experience of a family member requiring care. To work for them you can expect an open, honest, supportive environment where everyone enjoys coming to work and can thrive in their roles. The Registered Manager started as a Care Coordinator but has progressed into a management role, who knows, maybe you could follow a similar career path?

The Team & Your Role

You will be part of a fabulous team who all share the same values. They support their lovely clients in the local community, and they deliver around 1800 care hours per week and coordinate 46 members of the care team. They are looking for a Care Coordinator that will ensure that the homecare support they provide is delivered the way the customers want it, when they want it, and is to the highest possible standard. Your role will include: -

  • Identify suitable matches for clients.
  • Schedule carers weekly and monthly rotas.
  • Accepting, allocating and processing referrals for new work.
  • Talking to the customers on a regular basis about their care.
  • Identify recruitment current and future needs.
  • Take part in the on-call rota on a rotational basis.
