“I love my job and I know not every carer can say that. All my clients and their families are so lovely, and they make every day feel different. I will arrive early in the morning help them get out of bed and make them some breakfast. We’ll chat and I’ll help them get washed and dressed, and ready for the day. On my afternoon calls, I may help prepare lunch or we might go out to do something they enjoy, might be a nice walk, or it might just be sitting in the sunshine in the garden. I might have to do some housework sometimes and just help with little jobs that have got a bit harder. In the evening, I will help them up the stairs, into bed and make sure the house is all locked up. It really doesn’t feel like a job. This is a lovely company to be a part of, the Managers are so supportive and always on hand when you need them. I couldn’t work for anyone else.”
