Our client

We are recruiting on behalf of a Registered Charity who were founded in the 1970s by a group of concerned residents who felt more could be done for people living with Mental Health conditions, Learning Disabilities, and challenging behaviours. It was very much felt that more could be done to support people to live independently and promote inclusion. The founders were very much of the opinion, “we can do more, we can do better,” and they did! Nearly 50 years later and these are values that still drive them on to do more for the people they support and challenge the stigma of mental illness. Could you be part of the next 50 years of their story?

Your Role

As their Supported Living Service Manager, you will lead a team of Support Workers at the Supported Living services in Oldham and Newton Heath. They support individuals who are living with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health conditions, and complex needs. You will be key in the day-to-day running of the services and the job will include:

  • Rota planning.
  • Carrying out assessments & completing care plans.
  • Ensuring service quality & compliance.
  • Supervising & mentoring the support team.
  • Taking part in the on-call rota.
