Service Manager, Supported Living
Job Description
We are seeking a Supported Living Service Manager close to the Oldham area of Greater Manchester. This is a permanent job vacancy.
This job vacancy could also be ideal for candidates living close to the centre of Manchester, Ashton-under-Lyne, Middleton, and surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
This is an exciting time to be joining this organisation as their portfolio of services is expanding across the region and they are in an exciting period of growth and modernisation.
- £31,060 per annum + paid travel time & 45p mileage.
- Full-time, 37.5-hours per week.
- On-call requirement on rota basis, £30 per day.
- Experience working with adults living with Mental Health & Learning Disabilities.
- Experience in a management/supervisory role.
- Hold Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent, willing to work towards Level 5.
- Excellent CQC knowledge.
- Driving licence essential.
Our client
We are recruiting on behalf of a Registered Charity who were founded in the 1970s by a group of concerned residents who felt more could be done for people living with Mental Health conditions, Learning Disabilities, and challenging behaviours. It was very much felt that more could be done to support people to live independently and promote inclusion. Your Role
As their Supported Living Service Manager, you will lead a team of Support Workers at the Supported Living services in Oldham and Newton Heath. They support individuals who are living with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health conditions, and complex needs. You will be key in the day-to-day running of the services and the job will include:
- Rota planning.
- Carrying out assessments & completing care plans.
- Ensuring service quality & compliance.
- Supervising & mentoring the support team.
- Taking part in the on-call rota.
