We are recruiting for a Support Worker to support a young female with Specialist Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities in her own family home.

Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester.

Salary: £11.00 - £13.00 per hour including £8.91 per hour sleep-in rate.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time & part-time, shift pattern can be discussed.

We are recruiting on behalf of a young 16-year-old girl living with Cerebral Palsy and complex needs. As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in maximising this young lady’s independence and quality of life. Helping her with activities she enjoys, providing educational support, and assisting with personal care and daily living skills. In her spare time, this young lady is a keen gamer, loves to shop, and loves eating out.

Working in this role requires you to be a positive, enthusiastic person to match the girl’s personality. It will also be an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience of providing care and support as you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary professionals.


  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Social Care - desired.
  • Experience of working with people with Disabilities/challenging behaviours – preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, resilience & willingness to learn- essential.
  • Driving licence – essential.
