Job Description

We are looking for a person-centred Senior Support Worker living close to the Welywn area of Hertfordshire.  This job is also within 20 minutes commutable distance from St Albans, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage, or Hertford.

This is a full-time permanent Job vacancy working directly for a Social Care Provider.   You would be joining a care provider who supports Adults & Young People living with Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviours, making a big difference in their lives every day.

Key Information

As a Senior support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting the Service Manager with the day to day running of the supported living service. You will be a natural leader and mentor ensuring your fellow support workers are fully supported in their job.  Your role will encompass managing the rota’s, carrying out 1-1’s, mentoring the staff team, and accompanying on leisure activities.

  • £10.28 per hour, plus enhancements.
  • QCF Level 3 ideally, but willing to work towards.
  • Experience working with individuals with Learning Disabilities & challenging behaviour.
  • Working on shift with Support Workers.
  • 37.5 Hours per week.
