Full-time, Team Leader Learning Disabilities, permanent job vacancy, close to Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

This job is approximately a 25-minute/19-mile commute from Stevenage via the A505. The role may also be suitable for candidates living close to Stevenage and Cambridge.

• £25,584 - £27,560 per annum DOE (£12.30 - £13.25 per hour).
• Full-time, 40-hours per week.
• 30 days holiday per year, increasing yearly up to 33 days.

Your Role

As their Team Leader Learning Disabilities, you would be joining a Supportive Living and learning environment for young adults living with Learning Disabilities and complex health needs. The service is set in beautiful grounds and is rated Outstanding by CQC. You would play a key role in supporting the Managers and providing coaching and motivation to the dedicated team of Support Workers. You will help induct new team members, carry out supervisions, all whilst ensuring the welfare and safety of the young people you support.

Criteria

• Level 3 Health & Social Care - essential.
• Experience within a Senior/Supervisory/Team Leader role – essential.
• Experience working with children/young adults with Learning Disabilities, Complex needs, or SEN – essential.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate as well as passion for sector – essential.
