As a Young Adult Support Worker, your role will be key in helping the young people you support with their daily life skills and help promote independence. You will be involved in their individual therapies, but also helping them to continue to do the things they enjoy including shopping, trips to the cinema, arts and crafts, music, or even going to the pub. There may be elements of personal care involved when required, but don’t let that put you off, it isn’t always what you think it is and we will happily talk you through it.
