Team Leader (Learning Disabilities) looking to progress

We are recruiting an Adult Support Worker to be a part of a Supported Living service for young adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs.

No experience is required as excellent paid training and induction is provided. Having a positive personality, compassion, and willingness to help someone are the key characteristics for this job.

Location: Maidstone, Kent

Salary: £10.20 per hour + welcome bonus.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week (mixture of shifts).

As their Adult Deputy Service Manager, you will be an integral part of a residential care home for up to 8 service users living with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and challenging behaviour. Rated Good by CQC, they have an established, friendly staff team. Everyone at the service is very welcoming, there is a fantastic vibe, and there are lots of fun activities for the service users/residents to enjoy. The home is set in a beautiful, rural location and even has its own lake. Your responsibilities may include:

• Help ensure the delivery of high- quality care to the service users.
• Ensuring the staff team are equipped with necessary skills, training, and supervision.
• Review care plans to ensure they are up to date with individual needs.
• Ensure the implementation of quality measurements and monitoring,
• Deputising for the Manager in their absence.

Criteria

• You will have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• You will have experience of working in a Senior/Team Leader/Deputy position for at least 1-year.
• Experience of working with people living with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and challenging behaviours is essential.
• It is preferred that you have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
