We are recruiting for a Children’s Residential Operations Manager to take up an exciting opportunity with a children’s residential provider like no other.

Location: Preston, Lancashire.

The role will involve travel around services in Cumbria and the north.

Salary: £66K per annum (includes car allowance) + benefits.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time.

 We are recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading providers of residential care and education for children who have suffered trauma and exploitation. Their homes and services are built around the children’s needs, providing specialist care to help build towards a positive future. With several homes in the north, they provide safety to the young people, but also use the tranquillity of the great outdoors to offer adventure, boost esteem and confidence.

As Operations Manager, you will work alongside other Operations Managers to lead and manage a number of multi-building Registered Services. You will provide support and leadership to ensure the best outcomes for the children. You will ensure the financial objectives area met, liaise with referral managers, and you will oversee the Registered Managers of the homes.


  • Experience in an Operations role & managing budgets.
  • Experience & knowledge working in the children’s residential sector & working with children with challenging behaviours.
  • Excellent knowledge of OFSTED regulations.
  • Full driving licence.
