Full-Time job vacancy, for a Children’s Residential Support Worker in the Chorley area of Lancashire. Located right next to the M61 and M6 this job is also commutable from Preston, Bolton or Wigan.

The Home

This Residential Home is Registered for up to 5-7 young people who have social and emotional needs aged between 8-18 years old. You will be helping them with daily living tasks and encouraging them to learn and most importantly promote positive outcomes. You will help them become independent young adults, whether that be helping them get ready for school or college, attending after school clubs etc.  There is always plenty going on with activities close by for the Children. Sometimes they have trips out to the Cinema, Crazy Golf, & they often have activities going on within the home too. This could include arts and crafts, dancing, gymnastics, football, just to name a few. They want to ensure the children and young people do fun things! With your help and encouragement too!

Key Information

We are looking for someone just like you, someone who show’s real passion and dedication to supporting children and young people develop and thrive.

  • £21’295 - £23K per annum, DOE
  • 5% Contributory Pension, Life Insurance, Healthcare Insurance
  • Company Sick Pay Scheme
  • £1000.00 attendance bonus + £1000.00 Welcome Bonus
  • 40 Hours per week on a flexible rota + Sleep in’s
  • Up to 7 Weeks Holidays Per Year
  • Ideally hold Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or willing to work towards.
