This role is based near Burnley but is also commutable from Blackburn (25-minutes/11-miles) via the M65, Nelson (20-minutes), and other nearby Lancashire areas.

This provider has a wealth of experience and over 25 years in the Children’s Care Sector, they are truly in the right profession for the right reasons. The Director began her career as a childcare officer, working her way up to a Registered Manager and now Director of 8 Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) homes. It is crucial to them that they always deliver positive outcomes for each home and the children they care for. This provider shows nothing but whole heart to each child within their care, recently being nominated for the UK’s Beacon Award. The Home & Your Role
As their Residential Children’s Support Worker, you would be working in a 3-bedded home working with a child living with EBD to achieve positive outcomes. Your role is important in ensuring that the young person has support, has the same opportunities as other children, and provide positive experiences and a creative curriculum, so that they can be the best they can be and achieve all their goals. You would help the young person to continue doing the hobbies they love whether that be horse riding, skiing, or swimming.
