Children's Residential Team Leader

Job description

We are recruiting for a Children’s Residential Team Leader to join an organisation who provide residential care for young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities.

Location: Preston, Lancashire.

Salary: Up to £31K per annum DOE (includes sleeps).

Job Type: Permanent, full-time, 42-hours per week on rota basis.

We are recruiting on behalf of a special children’s organisation who ensure that all the children they support have the same opportunities as other children. They provide positive experiences and a creative curriculum so that every child can be the best they can be and achieve all their dreams.

As a Residential Team Leader, you will be part of a 5-bedded children’s home for young people aged 8-18. You will assist the Home Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home, leading shifts and assigning specific tasks to support workers and monitoring their performance.

Criteria

• Level 3 Diploma Health & Social Care Children & Young People/Adults or equivalent
• It is essential you have at least 2 years’ experience with children with EBD
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Over the age of 21.
