Job Description

We are recruiting for a Deputy Children’s Home Manager to be part of a Children’s Residential home supporting young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Location: Clitheroe, Lancashire.

Salary: £33,456 per annum (includes sleeps).

Job Type: Permanent, full-time, 40-hours per week & sleeps.

We are recruiting on behalf of a provider who has a wealth of experience and over 25 years in the Children’s Care Sector, they are truly in the right profession for the right reasons. This provider shows nothing but whole heart to each child within their care, they always deliver positive outcomes for each home and the children they care for.

As Deputy Manager, you would be working in a 3-bedded home working with children living with EBD and helping them to achieve positive outcomes. You will be key in supporting the Registered Manager and helping to shape the home. You will be key in safeguarding and providing strong, motivational leadership to the team.

Criteria

  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health & Social Care, willing to work towards Level 5 in Leadership.
  • Experience working with children within a Residential setting.
  • Minimum 2-years’ experience in a Senior/Supervisory/Deputy position.
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • You must be over the age of 21.

Location: Preston, Lancashire.

  • Driving Licence – essential.
  • You must be over the age of 21.
