We are recruiting for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a Children’s Crisis Intervention & Respite service. This is a peripatetic role and will involve travel to different locations.

Location: Preston, Lancashire.

Salary: Up to £30,768 per annum + paid travel time & use of company vehicle.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time hours.

We are recruiting on behalf of a family run business based in Preston. The children are at the forefront of everything they do, they provide unconditional acceptance and compassionate care for every young person. They provide various services including crisis and respite, residential, family support and welfare, and secure transportation.

As Senior Support Worker, you will provide leadership as part of the Crisis Intervention & Respite service. The role will involve travel to different services across the country and working at different short-term placements and services. You will be providing supervision to Support Workers, delegating duties to your team, and taking leadership whilst on shift to ensure the support for the children is of a high standard.


  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or Residential Childcare.
  • Experience of working with young people with EBD.
  • Minimum 2-years’ experience of working in residential setting at a Senior/Deputy/Supervisory level.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Must be over the age of 21.
