Job description

Dementia Support Worker, permanent job vacancy, Bridlington, North Yorkshire. No experience required as excellent training/induction provided.

You would be working within our highly specialist Dementia Care Home which sits in the heart of the community on the seafront. The home is located very close to local amenities and is a short distance from the A165 road. The role may be commutable from Scarborough via the Coaster number 12, 12A, 13 bus service or via the Northern train service. The local train station is approximately a 10-minute walk away.

About Us

We are a not-for-profit organisation with many years’ experience of providing a range of care services to support older adults. We are very proud of our home, and it has been designed with the residents in mind. We have thought of everything when it comes to our facilities, including a hairdressing salon, activity areas, courtyards and gardening areas for our green fingered residents to enjoy. Our on-site pub is a real favourite though, used for reminiscing and allows residents to enjoy themed events such as royal celebrations, race afternoons, or for a good old sing song.   

We want to set the benchmark for care in the private sector, offering separate communities for totally independent, assisted, and supported living. We want our home to evoke happy memories, everyday living, as well as continuing to promote independent living.

About You

All you need to be one of our Support Workers, is a big heart and a caring compassionate nature. Experience is not essential as we will provide you full induction training and shadowing with our team. 

We’ll also invest in you too by giving you access to funded qualifications and genuine career opportunities; we want to see everyone flourish and enjoy their job.
