Job Description

Regional Manager, Adults Supported Living (Learning Disabilities), Yorkshire. Covering York Leeds, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Skipton, Selby, & Scarborough supported living schemes.

We welcome applications from experienced Area Managers, or experienced Service Managers ready to take their career to the next level. Must hold a UK driving Licence and have access to your own vehicle.

£40K - £42K per annum dependent on experience

Your Role

As their Regional Manager, you will ensure effective recruitment, development, leadership, and management of Adult Supported living services across Yorkshire. You will work in partnership with another existing Regional Manager. You will line manage the support management team, monitoring compliance and continuous improvement, whilst building effective relationships with external bodies. You will also plan and participate in on-call services, ensuring that all individuals involved in each service have the support they require on a 24/7 basis.

Essential Criteria

  • Level 5 Leadership & Management (or willing to work towards)
  • Experience managing services for Adults with Learning Disabilities.
  • Ability to lead, manage & develop service teams.
  • Excellent understanding of relevant legislations and CQC requirements
  • Hands-on experience supporting vulnerable individuals.
  • Full UK Driving Licence

    • Ensuring effective relationships with outside agencies
    • Budgeting
    • Carrying out assessments
    • Completing care plans & risk assessments
    • Ensuring service quality and compliance according to CQC requirements
    • Supervising & mentoring the support staff team
    • Taking part in on-call rota to ensure 24/7 support is available

    Essential Criteria

    • Minimum Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
    • Experience leading/managing teams within supported living settings.
    • Extensive experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities.
    • Ability to lead, manage & develop a service team.
    • Knowledge of relevant legislations and CQC requirements.
