Becoming an Adult Support Worker to an adult with Learning Disabilities living close to Acomb, York, North Yorkshire, is a job with real reward. It is also job where you can develop as a person, as well as player a huge part in developing someone else, it could lead to a Career in Adult Social Care Management.

This job would suit candidates living close to Acomb, York, Dringhouses, Holgate, Haxby, Fulford, Clifton, Huntington, and nearby areas of York.

Location

Because we support individuals in their own homes across York, we have Adult Support Worker job vacancies in most areas of York. We will carefully match you to the person you are going to be supporting, including things like looking at your hobbies and interests. Because if you like football, or you like running it would make sense to match you with someone with similar interests, but whatever your hobby don’t forget to mention it when you apply.

Key Information

  • No experience is needed – full training is provided
  • You do not need to be a car driver as long as you can commute.
  • £9.50 per hour plus £62.64 per sleep in.
  • £9.18 per hour for under 23s.
  • Support towards your QCF in Health & Social Care
  • Hours can be full or part-time, but you must be able to work a variety of hours.
  • You would support an adult to live independently in their own home.
  • You will achieve goals together.
  • Make plans together & share your day together.
  • Cook meals together & do things together.
  • Managed money and bills together.
  • Laugh together.
