Who are We?

We are an organisation who have won countless awards for changing the way older people living in their own receive care & combat loneliness. Some need company after a spouse passes away, others need support when they develop early onset Dementia. We offer a very different approach to regular homecare providers. We are very proud that we support older adults in Kingsthorpe & the surrounding areas by offering companionship led care. So rather than quickly popping in to check on someone we spend at least an hour with someone, do activities together, go out and lots more!

Spend your days keeping someone company and doing things together, gaining a friend & impacting someone else’s life!

  • Cooking breakfast, whether it’s porridge or a nice soft-boiled egg.
  • Helping someone with their morning routine.
  • Helping someone get in & out of the shower.
  • Taking someone out for the day.
  • Making cakes, playing cards, board games or watching game shows on the TV.
  • Helping with cooking meals and staying nourished and hydrated.
  • Offering companionship, friendship and a trusted friend who cares.
  • Assisting with medication reminders.
  • Providing evening companionship & preparing them for bedtime.

Our People

Most of our team have had previous careers such as Nurses, Police Officers, Estate Agents, Hairdressers, Retail Assistants, Senior Managers. just to name a few. Many join us because they have reached the time of their life where career isn’t as important as fulfilment, and many choose to do this job to do something they have always wanted to do. That is to give back to the local community and offer support to someone who really needs it.

Talk To us

We cannot include everything we do or answer all your questions on a job advert, plus we love to talk! So please click on apply and I will give you a call & tell you all about this wonderful opportunity for you to avoid Retirement! After all, 40 is the new 30! 50 is the new 40! 60 is the new 50 and 70 is the new 60!

If you don’t have a CV, please email us instead with your contact details and a little information about yourself & we will be in touch.

** PLEASE NOTE this is paid employment, however we are trying to attract those that have the right qualities to work in the care sector.

    Could you help Mary*?

Mary is 80 years old and has started to struggle with little things that so many of us find simple. She might struggle to follow simple steps such as following a recipe when cooking a meal or sometimes forgetting to have a wash, she might also get muddled with peoples’ names. However, she does love to sing, and music seems to always cheer her up and remind her of special memories. She can get lonely from time to time though, and she needs a bit more help round the house. Could you be the person to make a difference to Mary?

As a Care Assistant & Home Helper, you will carefully be matched to older adults in your local community, supporting them to remain independent both in their own home and by keeping them active in the local community. We only do a minimum of 1-hour visits, so you are never rushed. You would always see the same clients too. This would include any of the following:

    • Assisting with daily routine including mornings, lunchtimes, and evenings.
    • Assisting with personal care where required.
    • Prompting to take any medications.
    • Taking clients out shopping or attending local groups, events, or appointments.
    • Preparing meals and light household duties.
    • Being someone, they can rely on.

    About Us

We are rated Outstanding by the CQC rating and to us, care is personal. As a team we are all truly committed to making a difference and we want to lead the way locally in changing the way our older members of our community are looked after in their older years. When you join our team, you will instantly know what a special organisation we are. Everyone in our team feels valued and supported. Throughout your journey with us and we can offer you not just a job but a truly rewarding vocation! There is care… but then there is the way we deliver care.
