Job description

We are recruiting for a Deputy Children’s Home Manager in the Nottingham area of Nottinghamshire. Full driving licence is required.

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join a fantastic provider of children’s residential homes for young people living with Emotional & Behavioural Disorders (EBD). So, if you have experience at a Senior/Manager level and you are looking for an exciting new opportunity, then we would love to speak to you.

Key Information

  • £27K - £30K per annum DOE.
  • Full-time, 40-hours per week.
  • Monday – Friday, with some on-call duties and some weekends on rota basis.
  • Previous experience working as a Senior/Supervisor/Deputy in a Residential service – essential.
  • Level 3 in Children & Young People Workforce or Residential Childcare – essential.
  • Experience of working with children with EBD/Disabilities – essential.
  • You must be over the age of 22.

The Provider

We are recruiting on behalf of a unique Children’s provider who ensure young people’s emotional needs and wellbeing needs are met. They are focussed on high-quality focussed support plans and achieving positive outcomes for every child they support. They currently have 1 home but have exciting plans to open new services in the future. All of their team are dedicated, compassionate, and share the same values and aims to do the best by the children so they can grow, develop, and reach their full potential.

The Home

As their Deputy Children’s Home Manager, you would be joining a 4-bedded home for boys and girls aged 10-17. The children living at the home are very settled and there are very few challenging behaviours. The home is rated Good by OFSTED which is evidence of the great work they do and the wonderful environment they have created, and it is a great place to work.

With plans to open more homes in the area, who knows, this might just be the start of an exciting rewarding career.
