Job Description

We have a fantastic, full-time, permanent job vacancy for a Service Manager (Learning Disabilities), this would be overseeing a Supported Living Scheme in the Nottingham area of Nottinghamshire.

This job is a short distance from the centre of Nottingham (9-minutes via the A610). It may also suit candidates living close to the Ilkeston, Mansfield, Newark-on-Trent, and surrounding areas of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

This role could be ideal for an experienced Service Manager who is looking for a new challenge or a Deputy Manager who is hungry to progress and make the next step in their career, if that’s you, then this could be an ideal opportunity.

Key Information & Criteria

  • £30K - £35K per annum DOE.
  • Full-time hours, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.
  • Minimum Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Experience managing/supervising teams within supported living settings either as Manager, Deputy, or Senior.
  • Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities/Complex Needs.
  • Ability to lead, manage & develop a service team.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislations and CQC requirements.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Duties

As Service Manager, you will oversee 12-self-contained flats, supported living service for individuals living with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, Autism, and complex needs each living in their own flat. The service is almost fully staffed, and you will be responsible for supervising the team and the individuals they support each day, ensuring a safe, flexible, and supportive atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Rota planning & budgeting.
  • Ensuring effective relationships with outside agencies.
  • Carrying out assessments.
  • Completing care plans & risk assessments.
  • Ensuring service quality and compliance according to CQC requirements.
  • Supervising & mentoring the support staff team.
  • Taking part in on-call rota to ensure 24/7 support is available.

Adult Team Leader

We are recruiting for an Adult Team Leader to be a part of a Supported Living service for young adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs.

Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

The job is about a 10-minute commute from Stevenage.

Salary: £24,291 per annum.
