Full-time, Registered Manager (something different), permanent job vacancy, Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

We are looking for a Registered Manager who is looking for something different, something where you can put your own stamp on a role, use your skills, knowledge, and experience to help us develop the operational plans for our company.   • £30,812 - £35,136 per annum DOE.

About Us & The Role

We are an award-winning Registered Charity with over 50-years’ experience in working with agencies across Sheffield to support mainly older adults, their families, and carers. We offer support in their own homes, if they are admitted or discharged from hospital, or living in a Residential Care Home. No matter what, people are always at the heart of everything we do. We have nearly 200 dedicated Volunteers and deliver 4000 jobs per year all with the aim of improving the wellbeing of vulnerable people and tackling loneliness in the local community.

This particular role is more akin to being an Operations Manager but would be perfect for a Registered Manager of a homecare or residential service who is looking to leave the care sector but wanting to use their vast knowledge. There will be the potential for you to take up registration with CQC to develop our services and offering a domiciliary care service where we can deliver personal care and medication calls. The main responsibilities of the job will be:

  • Assisting the CEO with the overall management of the Charity’s services.
  • Developing & delivering the operational plans for the organisation.
  • Management of KPIs & our team’s performance.
  • Liaising with other organisations & agencies.
  • Cascading our values & representing the organisation.

Criteria

  • 3 years’ experience in a Social Care Management role or relevant qualification essential.
  • Experience of care operational duties/strategies/developing service essential.
  • Educated to degree level preferred.
  • Experience in another medical field such as Nursing, Physio, Occupational Therapy could be considered for right candidate. 
  • Car Driver essential.
