Job Description

We are recruiting for an Adult Registered Service Manager close to Barnsley, South Yorkshire, to oversee a Residential service supporting adults living with Learning Disabilities. This is a full-time, permanent job vacancy.

This job is also commutable from Wakefield, Sheffield, Doncaster, Castleford, Pontefract, Rotherham, Sheffield & Leeds due to its proximity to the M1, M62 & A1 (M) Motorway network.

  • £36K - £40K per annum DOE.
  • Full-time, Monday – Friday (role will include being part of the on-call rota).
  • 33 Days Annual leave
  • Level 5 Health & Social Care – Leadership & Management – essential.
  • Strong background within Adult Learning Disabilities Services - essential.
  • Strong leadership experience – essential.

Your Role

As their Adult Registered Service Manager, you will oversee a Residential Accommodation Service for 10 individuals with Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviours. The service is rated Good by the CQC and is split over 3 properties all in close proximity to each other. The people that they support are all very settled individuals and this is an extremely person-centred service. The staff team in place are fantastic too. Could you…..

  • Provide management, leadership, and mentorship to the service?
  • Act as Registered Manager for the service ensuring the level of support is always of a high-quality?
  • Be a strong leader of people, an influencer and manage a large service?
  • Bring about change, but also be open to positive change yourself?

This is an exciting time to be joining this organisation as they have recently gone through a period of very positive changes. They currently own a portfolio of 8 services for adults living with Learning Disabilities and they have plans to open new services in the future.
