Job description

We are seeking a Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a brand-new children’s home.

Location: Stafford, Staffordshire.

This job is a 20-minute commute from Stafford.

Salary: Up to £40K per annum.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent job, Monday – Friday 9am-5pm.

We are recruiting on behalf of a children’s residential provider with inspirational values and morals. Over the past few years, they have grown steadily and now have 6 residential homes across 2 regions. The homes are all very settled, and all the children are making fantastic progress through their care and support.

As Registered Manager, you will oversee a brand-new 4-bedded home registered with OFSTED for children with Social Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD). You must be an experienced Manager who is excited by the challenge of getting this home off the ground and direct the home, the team, and the children towards a bright future.

Criteria

  • Level 5 in Children’s Leadership and Management (or equivalent qualification).
  • Experience as Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a Children’s residential setting.
  • Experience of working with children with SEBD/Learning Disabilities/Mental Health conditions.
  • Driving Licence – preferred, but not essential.
