Adult Support Worker

We are recruiting for an Adult Support Worker to join a Supported Living Service supporting adults living with Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, and complex needs.

Location: Wallsend, Tyne & Wear.

Salary: £9.50 per hour plus £62.64 per sleep (£9.18 per hour for under 23s).

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time, part-time & bank hours available.

We are recruiting on behalf of a unique provider who promote independence for adults living with Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health conditions, and complex needs in their own flat or Supported Living scheme.

As an Adult Support Worker, you will encourage the person you support and most of all, have a positive impact on a person’s life. Helping them live life to the full, no matter what the barrier. No experience is needed, as full training is provided. So, the key criteria for this job is that you are enthusiastic, have a positive personality, you care for the individual you support, and have a passion for working within the sector.

• Help them to do all the fun activities they enjoy from arts & crafts to film and sports.
• Help them learn life skills & assist with daily living skills.
• Preparing meals together & supporting them to appointments.

We are recruiting for an Adult Team Leader to join a Supported Living service for adults living with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

Location: North Shields, North Tyneside, Tyne & Wear.

Salary: £10.00 - £12.05 per hour DOE.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

We are recruiting on behalf of a unique provider who promote independence for adults living with Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health conditions, and complex needs in their own flat or Supported Living scheme. This provider believes that everyone should be themselves no matter what.

As Team Leader, you will be supporting the Manager to run the service on a daily basis. The service is a Supported Living service supporting adults with Learning Disabilities. You will be responsible for supervising your staff team and the individuals they support each day. You will also be involved in carrying out assessments and rota planning.

Criteria

• Minimum Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Experience leading/managing/supervising teams within supported living/disabilities service.
• Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities/Mental Health conditions.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
