Job Description

We are seeking Full Time, Part-Time or Bank, Adult Support Workers to support adults in their own homes throughout the Nuneaton area of Warwickshire. No Experience Needed – Full Training Provided.

  • Permanent, Full Time & Part-Time hours available or zero-hour contracts.

    Your Role

    As our Regional Administrator, you will provide general administrative duties and will be a professional point of contact for all staff, visitors, and service users. Other key areas of the role will include:

    • Opening & distributing mail, photocopying & maintaining stationary levels.
    • Typing, filing & administration tasks.
    • Reception Duties including answering the phones & recording messages.
    • Ensuring all minutes for meetings are typed & recorded.
    • Maintaining company email & forwarding emails to appropriate contacts.

  • Part-Time Support Worker

    Permanent job vacancy, part-time Support Worker close to the Stockton-on-Tees area of Cleveland/Teesside to support a young 25-year-old man living with Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy in his own home. Car Drivers preferred.

    This role is based in Yarm and is a 5.5-miles/15-minute commute via Yarm Road/A135.

    • £12.00 per hour weekdays plus occasional sleep-ins paid at £8.91 per hour. 
    • £13.00 per hour weekends (£19.50 per hour bank holidays).
    • Flexible, 25-hours per week, 6-days a week. 
    • Permanent contract following initial 6-month probationary period.
    • 28-days annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata).  
    • Experience in working with adults with disabilities/brain injuries is desired, but full training is provided.  
    • Having a positive, can-do attitude and friendly personality is much more important.
    • Dog friendly is preferred as our client has a dog.

    The gentleman is a fun-loving young man who lives in his own family home which is adapted for his needs. He is like any other 25-year-old, always active, sociable, and always doing something, whether that be a physio appointment or enjoying one of the activities he loves. He has several different and varied hobbies that he enjoys. He enjoys playing wheelchair football, horse riding, drumming, hospital radio flying, and more. Part of your role as one of his Support Workers is to keep him doing the things he loves and living life to the full.

    Your Role

    You will be part of a team providing 2:1 support to this gentleman. You will play a key part working alongside his family and a team of Therapists to support client’s ongoing rehabilitation. You will follow his specific care/support plan, ensuring his welfare, and safety at all times. There will be aspects of personal care involved in the role. You will gain valuable experience which would support a long-lasting career in the field.
