Job description

We are seeking a Deputy Children’s Home Manager to join a Children’s Home supporting children with Social Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD), Learning Disabilities, and Autism.

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.

We have several Deputy Manager vacancies across the West Midlands area, so the roles may also suit candidates living in areas such as Sutton Coldfield, West Bromwich, or Dudley.

Salary: £13.00 per hour + £50 per sleep.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent job, shift pattern.

We are recruiting on behalf of a children’s residential provider with inspirational values and morals. Over the past few years, they have grown steadily and now have 6 residential homes across 2 regions. As Deputy Manager, you play a key role in a small residential home for children. You will assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home. You will play a key role in providing care and support, supervising and mentoring a team of Support Workers, but more importantly, you will enrich a child’s life, create a safe environment, and help the children achieve a bright, positive future.

  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification).
  • Experience as a Deputy or Senior in a Children’s residential setting.
  • Experience of working with children with SEBD/Learning Disabilities/Mental Health conditions.
  • Driving Licence – preferred, but not essential.
