Health & Social Care Jobs are recruiting for a Registered Children’s Home Manager close to the Birmingham area of the West Midlands.

Key Information

  • Up to £62K per annum (includes yearly bonus).
  • Pension Scheme.
  • Minimum Level 5 in Leadership & Management or Children and Young People.
  • Minimum 2-years’ experience Managing a Children’s residential service.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation & regulations.
  • Must have obtained at least a “Good” OFSTED inspection rating.
  • Full driving licence.

We are recruiting on behalf of a special provider who see every child as the individual they are and offer them the opportunity to achieve their personal goals and progress forward. Through their therapeutic model of care, they aim to ensure that each child makes positive transitions through life in a safe and loving environment.

As their Registered Manager, you will be leading a small residential service for 3 children aged between 6 to 17 who are living with emotional, behavioural, and social difficulties. Your role will be key in providing leadership and motivation to your staff team, ensuring the support provided to the children is of the highest standard and exceeds regulatory standards.

Deputy Childrens Home Manager

We are recruiting for a Deputy Children’s Home Manager on behalf of an independent organisation who specialise in residential care and support for children and young people.

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

Salary: £31K per annum + bonus scheme.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time, office & shift work.

This provider provides care and support for children aged 10 – 18 living with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviours. They have extremely high standards of care, and the children are at heart of everything they do, and the motivation is to give them the best possible future, which every child deserves.

As Deputy Manager, you will assist the Registered Manager in leading a small 3-bedded children’s home which is currently home for 3 settled children and rated Good by OFSTED. There is an excellent staff team in place, and your role would be to build on the positive foundations that are already in place at this residential service.

Criteria

  • Minimum Level 3 in Residential Childcare or Children & Young People.
  • Previous Deputy Manager/Senior Support Worker experience within a Children’s residential setting.
  • Thorough knowledge & understanding of OFSTED requirements & legislation.
  • Full UK driving licence.
