We are looking for a dedicated Registered Children’s Home Manager in the Smethwick area of the West Midlands. The role is commutable from the West Bromwich, Smethwick, Birmingham City Centre, Dudley, Halesowen, and surrounding areas and is not far from the M5/M6 motorways.
The Provider
Our client is an independent organization specializing in providing care and support for children and Young People aged 10-18 who may have challenging behaviours, Educational Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Autism or ADHD. They may also have suffered neglect, trauma, sexual exploitation or abuse. Our client has extremely high standards of care and the children are at heart of everything they do, and the motivation is to give them the best possible future, which every child deserves.
As their Registered Manager, you will oversee a small 3 bedded home which currently looks after 3 children living with EBD and additional needs who have been there since the service opened. The home is currently rated as “Good” by OFSTED with ‘outstanding’ elements and they have an excellent staff team in place. You would be supported by a dedicated and passionate Deputy, Team Leaders and Support Workers who will help you continue to build on the positive foundations that are already in place. The children are very settled, no real problems and no regular challenging behaviour.
Essential Criteria
We are seeking a Children’s Residential Team Leader to join a Children’s Home supporting children with Social Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD), Learning Disabilities, and Autism.
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.

Salary: £12.00 per hour + £50 per sleep.
