Registered Children's Home Manager

£40K - £50K per annum DOE + bonus
 

Job Description

We are recruiting for a Registered Children’s Home Manager close to the centre of Birmingham, West Midlands. This is a permanent, full-time job vacancy.

The role is approximately 15 minutes from the centre of Birmingham via the B4125 road, and it may also suit candidates living close to West Bromwich, Smethwick, Dudley, Halesowen, and surrounding areas.

  • £40K - £50K per annum DOE.
  • Annual bonus scheme.
  • Full-time hours, Monday – Friday, but some out of hours to meet needs of the home.

The Provider & The Home

We are recruiting on behalf of an independent organization specializing in providing residential care and support for children and Young People aged 10-18 who may have challenging behaviours, Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Autism or ADHD. They may also have suffered neglect, trauma, sexual exploitation, or abuse. Our client has extremely high standards of care and the children are at heart of everything they do, and the motivation is to give them the best possible future, which every child deserves.

As their Registered Manager, you will oversee a small 3 bedded children’s home which currently looks after 3 children living with EBD. The children are very settled and have been living at the home for over 3-years. There is an excellent staff team in place, and you would be to build on the positive foundations that are already in place at this home.

Criteria

  • You will hold minimum Level 3 in Residential Childcare or Children & Young People.
  • You will have previous Manager/Deputy experience within a Children’s residential setting.
  • You will have thorough knowledge & understanding of OFSTED requirements and legislation.
  • It is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence.
