Job description

 We have a Full Time, Permanent, Job Vacancy for an experienced Care Coordinator / Rota Scheduler (Homecare) to join a family focussed Homecare provider based in Worthing, West Sussex.  Commutable from Worthing, Brighton, Horsham, Chichester & Surrounding towns, and villages.

  • £29’850 per annum (basic), plus bonus.  (See Below)
  • £24K Basic Plus on call £50.00 Weekday & £250.00 Weekends
  • Monday – Friday 8.30-5pm plus on call
  • On Call = 1 evening per week & 1 weekend a month
  • No Care delivery expectation before or after work – unless on call.
  • Car Driver Essential, on street parking nearby.
  • Level 3 Health & Social Care ideally.
  • Using People Planner, ACP and Access Software.

 

Your Role

The focus of your job role and responsibilities as a Care Coordinator would be rostering, care planning/scheduling Care Assistants, templating, and taking on new care packages.  You will be quality focussed, with a good eye for detail and accuracy.  You will be an excellent communicator with all the team and communicating with the recruitment team, team leaders to discuss issues and requirements of the service. 

 

  • 30 Carers
  • Delivering 900 Hours of care
  • Working with Social Services, CCG’s, NHS, and Direct Payments.
  • Minimum visits of 15 mins to 2-hour care calls.
  • Continuity of care to our customers is very important.

 

The Provider

With an overall Good CQC Rating, you will be joining a well-established, small independent Homecare provider.  We are one of the main contractor’s for West Sussex County Council and have been for a number of years.  They are a close-knit team, you would be very much part of their family, and for them that all starts with excellent training, which is where you come in….

You will be responsible for all aspects of home care worker training to our team of approximately 70 and new starters.  You will love training and making the sessions interesting whilst monitoring candidates progress and always been there for advice and support.
