Children's Residential Support Worker

£9.75 - £10.25 per hour + £45 per sleep + benefits
 

Job Description

We are recruiting for Children’s Residential Support Workers in the Wakefield area of West Yorkshire. Experience is preferred, but not essential. Car drivers are ideal due to location of the services.

We have job vacancies across the area and are looking for Residential Support Workers close to Wakefield, Barnsley, and Pontefract areas of West & South Yorkshire. So, if you live locally or close to the area, and you want an exciting new opportunity, we would be happy to speak to you.

  • £9.75 - £10.25 per hour DOE & qualifications.
  • £45.00 per sleep.
  • Full-time and part-time hours available – 39-hours, 30-hours, and 20-hours per week.

The Provider

We are recruiting on behalf of a unique, award-winning, Children’s Residential provider who are totally focussed on positive outcomes, looking forward, and changing children’s lives for the better. They have residential homes across the Yorkshire area and each home is either rated as Outstanding or Good by OFSTED making them unique as a provider, but it is testament to their dedication and the wonderful services they have created.

The Homes

There are 10 homes across the area, ranging in terms of capacity. Some homes support one child, some 2, and the group homes are each 4-bedded, for boys and girls aged 11-18. They support children 1:1 who have suffered early childhood trauma and challenging behaviours providing therapeutic, bespoke, care and support. Each home is decorated beautifully, has outstanding facilities, and has a homely feel where the children’s personalities can shine through. It also means that working here does not feel like a job at all, it’s a wonderful environment.
