We are recruiting on behalf of an extremely passionate Residential & Supported Living Learning Disabilities provider who are looking for a Locality Manager to oversee a group of Homes which are all located within a 10-mile radius.

Health & Social Care Jobs work very closely with the Care Providers we partner with, understanding their requirements & really getting to know their culture, future plans and who would fit is key!  Getting to know this Care Provider has been very refreshing and what they offer as an employer is unique.

Commutable from

Wakefield, Pontefract, Castleford, Garforth, Leeds, Selby, Howdon, Doncaster due to the fantastic motorway network (A1M, M62 and M1)

The Opportunity

Are you currently a Service Manager or Registered Manager longing for a job that gives you a real buzz, an future developments to be involved in. 

As the Locality Manager you will oversee three Adult Residential Services, with a staff team to support you to achieve this.  This would include two Registered Managers, 2 Assistants Managers and a Senior Management team.  The Senior Management Team all compliment each other in their abilities and work together to form a successful team.  A team that all play to each other’s strengths and weaknesses to form a great partnership, and ultimately deliver the best possible service to the people they support.


This job opportunity will give you the opportunity to get involved in some exciting plans as well as Managing three services and been a positive role model and influencer to a large staff team.  A knowledge of working within Residential or Supported Living Services for Adults with Learning Disabilities is essential and the ability to lead a team, initiate change in a positive manner but most of all be looking for a job that takes you to the next stage in your career and challenges you.

Essential Criteria

This is a fantastic opportunity, one that can only be explained over the telephone once you apply, but the key areas we are keen for you to possess are:

  • Previous Experience of working in the Adult Learning Disabilities Sector.
  • Must have previous Registered Manager / Service Manager experience or Above.
  • The ability to oversee a large staff team, lead them, guide them, and support them.
  • The ability to manage your time effectively.
  • To be natural at adopting, bringing about change.
  • An understanding and passion for Positive Behavior Support.
