Job description

We are seeking a full-time, permanent, Service Manager (Mental Health) in the Leeds area of West Yorkshire to oversee an early intervention Mental Health service.

This is an exciting job opportunity for a proven Manager with Mental Health experience to join a very special service in the Leeds area. The role is only a 12-minute commute from the centre of Leeds and is only a 30-minute from Bradford via car.

  • £47,126 per annum.
  • Full-time, Monday – Friday, 37.5-hours per week.
  • Experience working with adults living with Mental Health conditions.
  • Experience in a management/supervisory role & held CQC registration.
  • Hold or working towards Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Proven record/experience of business development.
  • Driving licence essential.

The Service

As their Service Manager, you will oversee their early intervention psychosis service. The service supports adults up to the age of 65 with mental health support in the community, helping them to achieve their recovery goals. Your experience and talent will be key in managing this well-established service. The role will also include:

  • Overseeing a team of Care Coordinators, Team Leaders, Support Workers, Therapists & Psychologists.
  • Ensuring that a therapeutic & supportive culture is maintained.
  • Ensuring the application of all policies & procedures.
  • Ensuring appropriate training & development of staff.
  • Managing service budget.
