About Honeysuckle Homecare

The owners are truly inspirational. A Mother and Daughter partnership, inspired by many years working in the homecare sector. They setup their own business to put their experience and passion into creating a homecare service that provides the best care and support for older adults in the local community. Upon joining the Honeysuckle Homecare team, you will instantly feel part of the family and you will see what a special place to work this is. The team is small, but growing, and you will be given the support you need to flourish as a Care Companion.

You could do something amazing by becoming a Care Companion and joining Honeysuckle Homecare our special family-run home care company. You could be the difference to

someone like Eileen*.

Support Eileen

Eileen is 82 and lives on her own near to Wootton Bassett. Eileen had a stroke in 2018 and that’s when she was diagnosed with early stages Dementia. It has made the things she loves doing difficult, and sometimes she cannot quite say the words she’s looking for. She also had a fall earlier in the year and she’s not as steady on her feet as she once was. We have made such a difference to Eileen that she feels like part of the family.

We help Eileen out of bed in the morning and make sure she has her porridge and morning brew. We make sure she has taken her medication and help get her washed and dressed, ready for her day. Some days we will take Eileen out to her local community centre and her singing group. Music brings her so much happiness and it’s wonderful to see her smiling and enjoying herself. We will help her with jobs at home like ironing or dusting, sit and chat with her about her memories or her latest book, she loves to read a little every day. Then at night we will help Eileen into bed, making sure she has her tea and that she’s comfortable. This is not a job to us, it’s a privilege and a true vocation.
