Duties

As their Occupational Therapist, you will provide an OT service which is run effectively.   within the therapy team providing a high standard of assessments and interventions.  You will also provide advice and training to relevant professionals, support team and family members.  You will recommend the relevant course of intervention needed for each child and support individual development of care plans, always considering their wishes.  You will carry out reviews and constantly review their individual development. 


Criteria
  • A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience of working in a multi-discipline team.
  • Member of RCOT.
  • Previous experience in an occupational therapy role
  • Knowledge of working with children with Autistic Spectrum Conditions.
  • Experience of Sensory Strategies / sensory integration.
  • Driving Licence and vehicle business insurance.
