Duties
You will be responsible for the delivery of occupational therapy, speech & language, ELSA, positive behaviour, and educational Psychologist advised interventions as advised by the Therapy team.  You will implement and review therapy interventions through assessments to enable students to fulfil their potential, following the students Education, Health & Care Plan (ECHP).
 
  • Work with SENCO, Managers & teachers to understand student’s needs.
  • Develop effective interventions both during and outside of lessons.
  • Deliver therapeutic support advised by the Therapy team.


Criteria
  • Previous experience of working with children in education, SEN Desirable.
  • You want to make a difference to students lives.
  • A keen interest in Therapy and working with Occupational Therapists, SALT and Education Psychologists.
  • A willingness to learn and undertake professional development.
  • A clear understanding of relevant protection procedures as well as Health & Safety.
  • Knowledge of legislation relevant to the Education or Social Care Sector.
