Full-Time, Permanent, Support Worker, job vacancy, Shepreth area of Cambridge.   Situated directly between Cambridge & Stevenage just off the A10 and on commutable by train. 

No experience necessary as full training & qualifications provided.  Complete your Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care - Fully Funded by the employer.

Duties

You would be working within a Supported Living environment which provides support for Young Adults who have learning disabilities. This fantastic service provides support & education for younger adults with profound, multiple learning disabilities.  You will support with:

  • Life Skills & the opportunity to reach their full potential.
  • Personal Care needs inc personal hygiene and dressing
  • Activities - Shopping trips, leisure activities, hobbies
  • Assist with Therapies inc Hydro Therapy, Sensory rooms.
  • Support with Music and Art in the Skills centre
  • Ensuring good bedtime routines and sleeping patterns.
  • Ensuring any medical needs are followed.
  • Ensure that you create a safe environment for both the Young Adults & your work colleagues.
  • Recording information and administration.
